Florida Everglades

My wife and I have been enjoying a visit from my grandparents from Traverse City, Michigan. We made our way into the Everglades to take an airboat ride at Speedy Johnsons. There's no greater feeling than being seated on a flat boat with a 7 foot fan, powered by a V8 strapped to the back. When these fire up, away you go, there's no sneaking up on any wildlife. Even with the noise we were able to see a Manatee, and a range of birds. No alligators this time, but on previous trips I have seen them, actually even once our captain picked one up out of the water! (Don't worry he was a professional.) The trip was fun, and it's always nice to spend some quality time with the grandparents. The videos are about 170 still images shot, and made into a movie and require quicktime to work.
